Time
- All games are (2) 20-minute halves
- Overtime periods are 3 minutes
- All timeouts are 45 seconds at the discretion of the referee
- Each team starts the game with 5 timeouts. Timeouts carry over into overtime periods. If a team begins an overtime period with 0 timeouts, that team will receive 1 timeout.
- Halftime is 3 minutes. Time between overtime periods is 1 minute.
- Referees reserve the right to call the game at the end if a team has given up and is no longer making an effort.
Clock Stoppage
- Clock stops during timeouts. This includes official timeouts
- Clock does not stop on free throws
- Clock stops on dead balls only in the final 1 minute of the 1st Half and final 2 minutes of the 2nd Half and Overtime
Fouls
- 7 team fouls causes a team to enter the bonus. 10 team fouls for double bonus
- Team fouls reset at halftime
- Team fouls carry over from the second half to overtime periods
- 5 personal fouls causes a player to foul out of the game
- If a team only has 5 players and 1 player fouls out, that team will be forced to play with 4 players
- If a team only has 4 players and 1 player fouls out, the fouled-out player may continue to play, but every team foul for the rest of the game causes them to enter the bonus. At that point, if they are in the bonus and commit a foul, every team foul for the rest of the game will be a double bonus.
- A technical foul rewards the opposing team 2 FT’s and the ball
- If a player receives 2 technical fouls in a game, that player is ejected from the game
- Over the course of a season, if a player accumulates 4 technical fouls, that player is out for the season
- If a team calls a timeout but has none remaining, that team receives a technical foul
- Referees or league owners reserve the right to remove a player from the game at any time
Attendance
- A team must start the game with at least 4 players. If a team shows up with only 3 players, that game will be forfeit and counted as a win for the opposing team. Officials will wait no longer than 5 minutes for a late player to show up.
- If a team starts the game with 4 players and 1 player gets injured during the game, that team may continue to play the game with 3 players and the game will still count.
- Players are not allowed in any other part of the facility other than the gym and restroom. A player seen violating this rule will be removed from the league.
Trades
- Trades are permitted between teams
- Trades must be initiated between team GM’s and must be approved by a league owner before being made official.
- A GM may not trade himself
- Trades must only be for player(s) for player(s). Future season draft picks are not eligible to be traded
- The trade deadline for each season will be 3 weeks prior to the first playoff game at 11:59PM
Re-signing
- A team may choose to re-sign up to 2 players from the previous season
- The player and GM must both agree to the re-signing
- The deadline to re-sign is 48 hours before the Draft
- GM’s must notify a league owner of the re-signing by the deadline
- Season 8 will be a “reset” season. No re-signed players from Season 7
Draft
- Each season begins with a draft
- Draft order is determined by previous season standings
- The Season 8 Draft order will be randomized
- Season 8 will be a “reset” season. No re-signed players from Season 5
- Draft style is serpentine
